Recommended reading. Holy crap, this was unexpected - songhunter takes the opening theme to the anime Heroic Age and works it in a very thorough, thoughtful, and beautifully written fashion. The attention to detail is heavy, but it never feels that way due to the erudition and articulate style of the writing. As a result, it doesn’t feel like the song is being broken apart and studied in a coldly analytic fashion, but is instead explored and savored to excellent effect.
