Seriously, this is a great change of pace and does help place AKB48’s music in perspective, explaining how it’s like some well-known idol music (Onyanko Club) but not like others (Hello! Project). So the education continues to inform and entertain, which is all I can ask for. Except for maybe an S&M song to go with the ho and enjo kosai numbers…

…no. I admire the effort to win people over, but I still don’t get it. A little more, but I’m still not there and I doubt I will be ever. I just prefer honest phonyness to attempts at realism.
