What’s Wrong With Lalala Shiawase no Uta (True Life Seek)

Vee of Pink wota still isn’t a big fan of C-ute’s latest single, but finds some merit in the PV, most notably C-ute themselves. It’s mostly about how the members manage to put on a great physical and aesthetical show, even when the odds are stacked against them – mediocre song and terrifying costumes. The writing is built around these very ideas in an entertaining, well-versed manner. Typical of Vee really.

True Life seek starts by objectifying the air of talk on the single and PV by throwing in some blogger names and their opinions. It’s a nice way to broaden the reactions the song and PV has endured recently, although I wish True Life Seek spent a little more time tying everything together. Still, the read might have snowballed into a big messy heap as a result, so no real complaints here. Anyway, TLS doesn’t hate the song, nore is he that bothered by it. The first half of this read reminded me of ‘the sunday blog roundup’ that our own Ray used to do awhile back. That’s never a bad thing in my books.
