[Review] Renai♥Rider and the Branding of Buono!

Highly recommended reading. Vee does an excellent job describing what makes the new Buono! single and PV so distinct and enjoyable, then places it in the context of Hello! Project in its prime. I was a bit wary of the Minimoni comparison – especially since there’s another anime unit who’s copping Minimoni’s style, which made me want to consider Buono! the new Petit Moni – but the reasoning behind her choice is sound.

On a side note, I’m beginning to think that Buono! is a triumph of Hello! Project but rather a Pony Canyon success story using H!P talent.
