[Blogs] True Life Seek arrives at another chapter in his ‘The Brilliant Green’ fandom

How I Do the Impossible; Saying Goodbye to the brilliant green

True Life Seek find’s something negative to say about ‘The Brilliant Green’. It’s interesting to see how a devotee of the group can tell it how it is – although it’s still not objective-proper – when something is a little amiss, whether it be the quality of a song or it’s PV. In this instance, the perfect green’s ‘ash like snow’ is bad on both counts. But the entry soon does a u-turn in regards to mood, as True Life Seek finds the b-side to be a lifeline for the single. It just goes to show, in J-pop at least, that b-sides can be very important. Hell, Ai Otsuka has a ton of b-sides that I preferred over their A-sides.

Anyway, the post is a thoughtful one, and the b-side get’s a well-described breakdown by TLS. Also, the ending thoughts about being in that place to let go of a band you’ve been following for ages has it’s merit. I found it very interesting at least. Recommended Reading.
