[live review] MAXIMUM THE HORMONE @ Kathedral – March 8th, 2008
Highly recommended reading. johpan provides a very lively, nicely detailed, and absolutely winning account of seeing the popular rock group in concert during Canadian Music Week. (I love his aside about the title of the event, too.) I was especially struck by the style of the writing – casual but self-aware to the proper degree, and even poetic at times without losing the energy of a fan.
@Ray – Thanks for the highly recommended reading (and for all the posts of mine that make it on here)! Just have to say that what you said was probably the nicest thing anyone’s said about anything I’ve written. Smiles all around ^_^.
