Ok, here we go, we got a real pressure cooker going here, two down, nobody on, no score, bottom of the ninth, there’s the wind-up and there it is, a line shot up the middle, look at her go. Kanna can really fly! She’s rounding first and really turning it on now, she’s not letting up at all, she’s gonna try for second; the ball is bobbled out in center, and here comes the throw, and what a throw! She’s gonna slide in head first, here she comes, she’s out! No, wait, safe–safe at second base, this kid really makes things happen out there. Batter steps up to the plate, here’s the pitch– she’s going, and what a jump she’s got, she’s trying for third, here’s the throw, it’s in the dirt– safe at third! Holy cow, stolen base! She’s taking a pretty big lead out there, almost daring him to try and pick her off. The pitcher glances over, winds up, and it’s bunted, bunted down the third base line, the suicide squeeze in on! Here she comes, squeeze play, it’s gonna be close, here’s the throw, there’s the play at the plate, holy cow, I think she’s gonna make it!
STOP RIGHT THERE! I gotta know right now – before you go any further, do you love Kanna? Do you love Kanna forever? Do you need her? Would you never leave her?

Here’s my Eagles defensive setup with C-ute in the lineup:
Pitcher: Maimi. Watch out for that blazing fastball, and she’s not afraid to come inside and high.
Catcher: Chisato. Never a passed ball.
First base: Umeda. She can also hit cleanup.
Second base: Saki. She doesn’t quite have the arm for third or short.
Shortstop: Kanna. Cannon arm and, as was observed by Broomhead, blinding speed.
Third base: Suzuki. Nice glovework.
Outfield: Hagiwara will anchor it in center, accompanied by a couple of Eggs — Mano in right and Sayaka in left.
What a lethal lineup.
Hagiwara is too small to be on the field. A line drive could seriously hurt her.
Due to the success of Dschinghis Khan, now it’s C-ute’s turn. The sixth C-ute single has been announced, and it’ll be a cover of “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth”.
