Sold Out X Japan Concert to be Streamed… For Free? ~LAWL!~ Yoshiki does not do “free”!
Go shares the details of the paid-access live streaming video for this much-anticipated concert and does not think it a good idea. I’m kind of struck at how they limit the number of purchases -were they afraid of running out of virtual interwebs seats?

This could be the breakthrough that some cable execs were kicking around earlier this year — a live video feed from a J-rock/J-pop concert that means something. It doesn’t make any difference what form that takes, or which groups participate.
Pay-per-view would be ideal if it is done in HDTV, full-blown sound with global access, and no interference from the labels (all eyes are on you, Sony). X Japan would give the entire J-rock and J-pop world a jolt of international electricity and maybe pave the way for (yes, please) Hello Project pay-per-views for their huge January and July bashes.
There is hope after all.
