Recommended reading. Wow, there’s already a dozen posts responding to the latest PV from H!P’s flagship unit. So I’ll split it to two posts and go over the general trends first. Mostly, bloggers like the song a good deal, as well as the dance, but many are bemoaning the focus on Reina, Takitty, and Koha at the expense of others, especially eighth gen. So on to particulars…
At BP, Celestia goes through the pluses and minuses. I love that she caught fishnet stockings on LinLin. She compares the costume and dance to “Shabondama”.
chicella77 sees “Do It Now!” in the dance and likes the mature but not overtly sexy moves. She also singles out Eri as the winner of this PV.
At H!P Sauce, alarm at the lopsided focus on the lead girls, judging the PV a cheap failure.
At HBE, Kelsey is quite upset at how Aika’s been shafted. I’m with her on this. (And I’ll be responding to your request soon!)
Arashi at hello!girl also does positives and not-so-positives, finding the dancing fierce and outfits stellar, and hoping this is just the dance shot version we’re seeing. Comparison is drawn to “Shabondama”.
Insanity is also upset about the emphasis on the lead girls at the expense of others, though she thinks the song and dance are both amazing.
