Recommended reading. With the end of March comes the end of the first month of American Wota’s first round table discussion. Our own Ray examines the fact that no Hello! Project act, solo or otherwise has managed to maintain continuous success in the 10 years since Morning Musume was first formed. However, he feels that if anyone can break this unforunate trend, it would be the kids, either collectively within their current groups, or one or two as solo artists after the dissolution of Berryz and C-ute.
He breaks it down and explains his thoughts on the possibilities of each girl, and contrary to popular opinion within our blogsphere, he doesn’t believe that Risako will get into a scandal.
He ends off this post and first series with some guest bloggers by giving us some food for thought. In a few years, when a new generation of Morning Musume is introduced, with some new members not even having been born when the original 5 started the group, how will we be feeling? Is this something to look forward to, or something to be wary of? I’m with Ray on this one. I truly have no idea.
