The Hello! Project official site has the latest news: Ayaka, the last remaining member of Coconuts Musume, is graduating from H!P. I can’t read too much of the details, but she’s already graduated- it’s already April 30th in Japan. Really, it’s not like she did that much in H!P anyway…but it’s sad to see another member leave.

Well this sure is an interesting week.
Was this just announced on the site today? If so, that’s REALLY short notice… I would have assumed that they would graduate Ayaka at a summer or winter concert, simply because she’s been around forever, and I think she’s earned a proper H!P graduation… I mean, ex-Cocount Mika Todd got one, why not Ayaka?
Well, there goes the last English-speaking member of H!P!
So this makes Coconuts Musume the longest lasting H!P group that has officially disbanded, as of now?
Unless Coconuts Musume can theoretically continue to exist as a zero-member group….
Yeah, even though they hadn’t done any recordings since about a year before Mika Todd went back to the States. The last thing Ayaka did was participate in H!P All Stars.
Just read on Tokyograph that she is leaving to pursue acting. Prediction: her acting career is more successful that Kago’s.
Assuming Ai Kago’s whole comeback interview wasn’t an act, in which case damn she’s good.
Noooo, not Ayaka!
This sucks.
Considering Ayaka’s done f*** all in recent times, and that I want to see her like, all the time, hopefully this acting gig will be a little more fruitful for her.
She should have been in Gatas.
