[Blogs] True Life Seek Looks For Reasons to Blog
Help a Blogger Out; a TLS Survey
Recommended reading. Our own broomhead is currently suffering from a lack of blogging enthusiasm. In an attempt to regain some inspiration, he’s asking for help from fellow bloggers to gain insight on why the rest of us blog. I think this is a question all bloggers ask themselves from time to time, and International Wota has definitely covered some posts on this topic.
A few bloggers have already responded to broomhead’s survey on their own blogs. I know some others are working on their responses (myself included). broomhead is not limiting responders to currently active bloggers, or even bloggers of the J-music scene (though I think that would be what all bloggers on IW would be…) but he poses this survey to anyone who has “blogged at least one entry, I think that’s enough to satisfy.” Basically, the wider the range of viewpoints, the better.
Hopefully, somewhere within these responses, broomhead will be able to find something to bring the spark back to his blogging muses.

If International Wota didn’t exist, would you blog?
- Yes I’d blog hoping something like it would emerge. Ray’s sunday blog roundups were like the halcyon days.
When IW covers an entry of yours, are you encouraged to blog more or less?
-I’m encouraged but become more self conscious and so may in some way falter. I prefer something with a feeling of spontinaeity.
When IW does not cover an entry, are you encouraged to blog more or less?
- It’s very disheartening and my mind is so fragile it may even break down and as you can it is very hard to do anything coherent in that state let alone blog!
How often do you read other blogs?
- On average I’d say take a gander at about 4.5 entries a day
How often do you comment on other blogs?
- I think I average about 10 comments in a week.
If another blog covers a topic that you wanted or wished to cover, do you still blog about that specific topic? Why or why not?
- No because I feel like it has somehow already detracted from my intrinsic value as a person and blogger.
