[Blogs] Pink Wota Intros Groupdubbing and Does a Little Dance
[Article/Pimp] Diary of a Mad H!P Fan
Recommend pimping. Vee has some insight here about groupdubbing, a wota phenomenon I wrote up ~Kyttyee☆STARZ~ doing like she invented it. (She didn’t claim that, I just never saw it before.) But I have checked out previous audio-only incarnations of some of these groups before. Like Vee says, it’s a VERY mixed bag and I lost interest in it, not following the transition to YouTube. (An interesting thing is how H!P dubbing groups have been allowed to flourish while any attempts at posting dubbed avex content are squashed.)
She also does a little dance.
I don’t know what to day about that to be honest, or anything dance-related. As for the singing, let me just say I give anyone trying this stuff out credit. It’s learning in public, which takes some amount of guts (or delusion, or both). And it’s the best way to get better, at singing or at music in general. But the way they record seperate lines that are mixed together later tend to make the harmonies really rough. Every singer has to have near-perfect pitch and rhythm to make those choruses sound right so keep that in mind if this is new to you. I was really impressed with KawaiiMusume’s Lalala Shiwase no Uta, enough to make me like that song, even. Maybe they record differently or they’ve just been practicing that long. (Or I’m overstating the difficulty. I don’t think I am.) Other highlights are the girl who sings as Miki (wow) and Vee herself does not do a bad Yossy, and she also sings her part well (…), but doesn’t go for the full-on imitation. (Which, in general, could be a bad habit. Also, having good rhythm and pitch should be priorities over the sound of the individual voices themselves, which KawaiiMusume seems to have learned. I don’t want to overcompliment them, but they’ve got that down.)
Maybe people think I’m more nuts than usual with this, but this is a lot of the fun with this type of music. (And that doesn’t mean you get to hear my version of Sakura Mankai…maybe if I’m drunk.)
Vee also sings some Ayu songs, but I never know what to say about anything Ayu-related either.

“She also does a little dance.”
Does she make a little love; get down tonight?
(I’m sorry, that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw that line, and I couldn’t resist.)
Love, Charmy

But on YouTube? Maybe not for long.
I couldn’t think of another way to say…she also does a little dance. It’s a fine dance…I guess. There could be a bunch of mistakes and I wouldn’t know cause I don’t pay attention that much. That’s my standpoint on dance vids. I was hoping some other people would comment but comments are down in general. It’s summer I guess.
Maybe there’s comment on the videos I didn’t check. Sometimes you do something like this it almost feels better to get some insults than get nothing. But I don’t mean to do that at all.
I like how this article discusses inter-group drama too. Keeps it at a certain level of maturity to just acknowledge it as a normal thing.
