It has been rumored and speculated since forever, but BoA is finally going to test the American market with an album. This is somewhat like false flags in the past, but the actual rolling out of a campaign (”Best of Asia, Bring on America”) puts my thoughts there to rest. More information will come out on September 10 about her American debut.
BoA’s Jewelry Box has yet to be written up on IW, so now is a better time than ever. As you can imagine, the blog is mostly - but not exclusively - dedicated to BoA. It offers media, reviews and and other thoughts. In response to this news, excitement gets offered up.
Strawberrie also shares the news and is excited that BoA will be nearby.

Hm. I wonder what American label is going to handle her? Or is her usual Asian label going to try to set up a US branch?

hm I dunno, I believe Cascada is under pony cannon, so obviously japanese labels have it over here..
and uh, avex has a lot of american singers I think………
so I think she’ll stick to her japanese label…
