Artist/Band Review: chatmonchy
Recommended reading. Second Blossoming takes an apparently welcome break from the stresses of school to bring us his thoughts on chatmonchy, an all-girl rock trio that seem to have captured his heart. SB is beginning to fine-tune his blogging and it shows, here, with several honest, memorable lines about the band and their songs jumping out at the reader. His interest in the music allows him to really write from the heart about what he hears and enjoys, instead of relying on a formula or rigid content method. This kind of enthusiasm is enough to get anybody interested in the current subject matter, just because the passion behind it is real and easy to see.
On another note, it’s interesting that SB compares himself to a pedophile at the beginning of the post, becau… oh, forget it, the joke’s too obvious by now.
