Jeez, the reactions are popping up on my feed reader faster than I can write about them.  You’d think the CD’s would have sold better.

CJ goes over his feelings on each member.  He’s the first one so far to single out Maeda Yuki as the one he is most disappointed about.  He is also a bit annoyed at H!P for giving Yui and Erika the axe so soon after the end of v-u-den.  CJ looks forward to what we might see beginning in April 2009

Superhappygenki feels that after 10 years this should be what is happening.  It frees up the Elders from standing behind younger girls who learned everything from them.  And it allows H!P to focus on the core groups without the excess baggage.  Reading that makes it sound like Nacchi is Bette Davis and Manoeri is Anne Baxter!

Usa-chan’s post is the first part in a series focusing on each member.  “NATSUMI FREAKING ABE, for Gaki’s sake!” pretty much sums it up for Usa-chan.  She goes over what H!P will be missing with the loss of these artists.

Amy is focused on what we might see going forward from H!P.  She notes the only two soloists left are Koharu and Manoeri.  And that they will need to step it up to fill the big shoes they are replacing.  Ultimately Amy sees the proof in the numbers, comparing C-ute’s latest sales with Ayaya.

Wendy’s two parter runs the gamut of emotion.  Part one being full of WTF’s, and part two being more hopeful.  She notes a bigger budget for the rest of the groups, new opportunity for the grads, a possible Takitty solo career, and the mother of all graduation concerts!
