Suzuki Ami – Reincarnation [31st Single] (Amai Wana)
Ami Suzuki – Reincarnation (Kurayami Monogatari)
Reincarnation [Ami Suzuki - 31st Single] (Vitamin Drop)
At Amai Wana, amaiyume calls “Reincarnation” a “complete letdown.” It seems that amaiyume actually prefers the vocoder version of Suzuki Ami rather than her singing without it. While amaiyume was not feeling the song, they enjoyed the PV to “Reincarnation.” Amaiyume finds the b-side, “Dub-I-Dub,” to be the better of the two tracks.
At Kurayami Monogatari, solarblade finds that the single is a good place for Ami to start as she drifts away from Yasutaka Nakata. They say that the single is “a great way deviate away from him because it still has a great dance beat and it’s catchy.” There is a problem that solarblade finds with this single and that is Ami’s Enligh singing for the b-side, “Dub-I-Dub.” Solarblade also mentions that the lyrics for “Reincarnation” were written by Hinouchi Emi. I had no idea about this which means I’m doing a very poor job of stalking my crush.
Over at Vitamin Drop, selryam has a mixed reaction to the single. He loves the opening to “Reincarnation,” but that’s about it. While talking about the chorus, he says that Ami ends up “shouting in probably the worst manner I have ever heard.” On the brighter side of the single, “Dub-I-Dub” bring the single back up to an average rating.
