Yajima Maimi Lands Scary Role (Stardust)

It’s always great to see our favorite idols branching out to film and television.  As it turns out Yajima Maimi of C-ute and Akimoto Sayaka from AKB48 Team K are both soon to appear in films.  In fact Sayaka is appearing in more than one!

Mars has a few stills from Fuju no Kaiden, which is a ghost story featuring Maimi and Kanon Fukuda from Shugo Chara Egg!  I haven’t seen much of Maimi’s acting skills since Koinu Dan no Monogatari, which she was really good in.  So I am really looking forward to see how she does.  Maimi definitely has the face of an actress!

Heiwa and Ange are excited for Sayaka, who not only has a part in the upcoming action film High Kick Girl, but is starring in the gory looking and aptly titled Super Gore Girl.  Wow, the promotional photos are enough to make me say “Hell Yes!”  Heiwa and Ange have the cast list and a short synopsis of the movie.

Ghosts, Action, Blood, Guns?  I love a kick-ass idol!  And you just know there will be sexual undertones throughout these movies.  I can’t wait!
