Gokkie Series:  Overanalyzing the Fifth Gen of Morning Musume (Itsumo Genki)

I really love this post!  And Isilwentari promises that this will be a series, although to be honest she isn’t quite sure what the series will ultimately be.  But here she takes a good look at Morning Musume’s 5th Generation, who had some big shoes to fill after following the 4th Gen. powerhouse that was Yossie, Charmy and TsujiKago!

Isilie talks about why she finds the Gokkies so fascinating, and how they went from a quiet little group to the personalities we enjoy today.  The biggest change (IMO) occuring for Niigaki Risa.  I was really intrigued by their “stick-togetherness”.  It’s interesting to note how the different generations develop the bonds that they have.  And 5th gen seemed to do it more than any other.  If you don’t already love Ai-chan, Gakisan, Konno and Makochan, this post will definitely have you routing for them.  The still shot from Konno and Makoto’s graduation says it all.  Recommended!
