Reina Reina Reina
Nai Chau Kamo – Time Trial
Morning Musume in the US – Trip or Opportunity?
Brian has created a new worship sight dedicated to the Wonky-eyed princess. And the sight is aptly named Reina (x3), because there can never be too much Reina as far as I am concerned. The site has been up for over a month and already there are plenty of great entries to check out.
Some of the older entries include an analysis of the facetime in Morning Musume’s new PV, a comparison of Morning Musume and The Beatles (hmmm?) and a great writeup on the coming Morning Musume appearance at Anime Expo. In that post Brian wonders if this is really the avenue to U.S. stardom, as it would be setting a precedent. He also calls out the U.S. fans to get as “wota” as possible. The show will not be the same without the chants and wota-gei. This sentiment has been repeated around the blogosphere, and I absolutely agree! The fan participation is a MAJOR part of the J-pop concert experience!
Anyhow, Brian’s blog looks great! Despite the name, there is much more to this site than just Reina fanboying. And there is a certain informality to his writing style that I really like. Recommended!
