amaiyume thinks the simplicity of the video suits Utada well. This simplicity does mean that amaiyume doesn’t have much to say about what happens. However, the review does take a look at how Utada looks.

blackmager dives a little deeper into the video. First off, blackmager admits that they had their doubts about where Utada’s career was headed. “Come Back To Me” ends up erasing those doubts.

blackmager says that Utada looks a little bit like Nocchi from Perfume with the short hair, which I totally agree with. Then comes one WTF statement that I can’t help myself from commenting on. “She has a classy, sophisticated, yet still somewhat Asian look to her that I’m sure everyone is going to go crazy for.” I got no idea what in the world this “classy, sophisticated, yet still somewhat Asian” means. I’d be all for blackmager dropping some knowledge on me
