The K!☆Mix Kollection — Volume 5! (K!☆Mixed ☃)

K is back with a new batch of mashups with Volume 5 of The K!☆Mix Kollection.

“Chocolate no Moufu” and “BINGAO” are two mixtures of AKB48 and Matsuura Aya that are very well done. “Shugo Shugo! Cha Cha Cha!” (Mini Moni x Shugo Chara Egg) blends almost too smoothly and has me questioning what is the difference between the two groups anyways. I like mashups that try to have a message; but sometimes just sounding good makes for a great mashup, which is how I feel about “FIRST KISS ni Sachi Are” (Aa! x Morning Musume). “Seishun HEAVEN” (Yaguchi Mari x Perfume) is interesting. I initially thought Yaguchi’s screaming clashed too much with the soft sound of “Seventh Heaven,” but it grew on me and now I find it strangely appropriate.
