If it’s good enough for Buono! then it’s good enough for MoMusu.  A smattering of reviews for the latest PV.  The single releases May 13th, the day after I leave Tokyo.  I guess I will have to head over to Shibuya and beg the CD stores to sell me a copy early!!!

I agree with Sazaki in that the girls look beautiful in the PV.  He goes over the storyline, including a bunch of screencaps.  Sazaki gives the song an 8/10

Lil_Hamz wonders why the PV was released so early. (The eternal question LH!)  I really like the way LH did a seperate review for each member, focusing on each girls appearance.  It is becoming fairly obvious that the look of the PV is getting a lot more attention than the song itself.

Chibon did a similar styled review, focusing on each Musume.  The song reminds Chibon of a few other H!P hits of the past.  GakiKame and Mittsi get some of the best feedback.

Isilwentari likes the direction MoMusu is going with this song, which she finds subdued compared to past singles.  She was also surprised by the virtual absence of dance shots (Say it ain’t so!)  And as far as the storyline goes, she had some trouble following it.  So Isilie did the next best thing, she made one up!  By the way, many many many screencaps!

Morningtime is also surprised by the girls’ style.  He feels Sayumi and Mittsi look the best, while Jun Jun looks like a male high school jock and Reina looks like…Michael Palin???  M isn’t the biggest fan of the song, although I am glad he was still able to find some snark in the PV

Finally, Tsukiki can’t believe this AND Buono’s PV were done by H!P.  She ends the post with this classic line…

“So, once again, I’m wondering where the good ol’ H!P of crap PVs, lame songs, no advertizing, and no purpose went.  International popularity probably changed that.  Damn America.”
