J-Music Survey (minna iru kai)
Midori’s survey: Your J-pop and other music preferences (Midori’s J-pop Overanalyzations)
A couple of surveys to get you thinking…
Misa at minna iru kai has reprised her survey from her old blog on vox. The original intent was to get a general feel of what there was out there in J-Music outside of Hello!Project. Looking at the responses so far, I think it does a good job at showcasing some different interests or at least giving you a few names to check out. Even if you’ve taken the survey before, it can be an interesting exercise to compare and contrast what may have changed in your own listening habits and opinions.
Midori’s survey takes a look not only at the J-Music scene, but also into your overall history with music. In an international community, this one is sure to produce some interesting results. Midori plans to tally up the responses and post up a summary, so try and respond by the end of the month if you can.
Surveys like these are a good way to get you thinking and reflecting on your own tastes and experiences within the genres you enjoy. Moreover, it’s definitely fun to read others’ responses as well.
