Arashi celebrates 10 years with best album, tour (Tokyograph)

Morning Musume celebrated their 10 year anniversary not all that long ago, GACKT changed his name to all caps to celebrate his, and now ARASHI is planning their own party for the milestone. They will release a new 2-disc best-of album called “All the BEST! 1999-2009″ which contains all of their previously released A-sides. While this will not contain Satoshi Ohno’s solo track, it will contain a track written by Arashi for their fans, and the first press edition will have an additional disc with 10 songs picked by the members.

Arashi will soon start a tour for this same reason, and won’t wind the tour up until the middle of January next year. In late August, they’ll play three dates at Japan’s National Stadium. Arashi is one of only 3 groups to play a solo concert there (as opposed to an all-Johnny’s/Hello! Project/Avex show), and will be the first group to play for multiple days. The tour is expected to draw 760,000 people.
