A few reviews of Mai Kuraki’s 32nd single, with an overall positive view on the release.

Solarblade of Kurayami Monogatari enjoyed the calm and soothing feel of the title track. He feels it was a nice nod to her earlier R&B sound which he liked; while in contrast, the relatively upbeat B-side, wana, was slick, sexy and awesome.

Amai Wana has good things to say, as amaiyume enjoyed the single as well. A beautiful track, with beautiful music, and a beautiful PV to go along with it. amaiyume gives props to Kuraki’s vocals, making mention of their angelic and strong nature.

hyperballad was fond of Beautiful’s melody and vocals, believing the song to be “memorable” and “catchy”. Unlike Solarblade, hyperballad wasn’t too impressed with the B-side and felt that the single as a whole, wasn’t as good as Kuraki’s last, PUZZLE/Revive. Not to say that hyperballad did not like this release.

Both Solarblade and amaiyume make note of Kuraki’s upcoming best of album, which is being released in celebration of her ten years in music. Kuraki has a long history and is still going strong, as evidenced by her latest singles and album released this year. All three reviewers are looking forward to what is to come from this Beautiful young lady and I’ll just have to add that I am too. Keep it up Mai.
