NHK and Johnny’s Reportedly Feuding (Japan Today)

Something to take with a grain of salt: it seems SMAP’s Kusanagi is being even more trouble for Johnny’s, though it isn’t really his fault this time. Japan Today reports that Japanese TV network NHK (the network which broadcasts the annual Kohaku Uta Gassen) defied a request not to transmit live a press conference held with Kusanagi after his arrest, and Johnny’s is holding it against them.  At the very least, this seems to hold some water based on the fact that NHK was not one of the networks with a representative at the press conference announcing Kusanagi’s return to showbiz.  The article questions whether Johnny’s will have a showing at this year’s Kohaku because of these supposed problems.
