Wish – Yuna Ito (stylejapan)
Awakened by the refreshing “summer-y” tunes of Yuna Ito’s third album Dream, Noah from stylejapan gave the album a favorable rating of four out of five stars, which continues the latest trend in noteworthy JPOP spring releases.
The overall ambiance of the album is described as one that is bright, airy, and optimistic. Even the heartfelt ballads such as “miss you,” “trust you,” “Ima Demo Aitai yo” (I still miss you) have a bittersweet happiness to them that complements the overall message of the album. Note to Yuna: too many <insert random word> you ballads.
Although a few tracks were lacking such as “LOVE MACHINE GUN” and ”love you” … wait that makes a total of four <blank> you songs … and the overall structure of the album was a haphazard mess, Noah still deemed it as her best album to date and a great way for beginners to immerse themselves in Yuna Ito’s Music.
While her past albums left Noah Heart-broken and Wish-ing for more, Yuna’s new happier disposition is one that he strongly approves.
