Chris’ Corner (Hello!Blog)
Seishun Bus Guide/Rival Full PVs
Meguru Koi no Kisetsu (Metal Version)
We begin this batch of Hello!Blog write-ups with the triumphant return of one rarely seen shady character: it’s The Chris, better known as everyone’s favorite H!P-hater! The Chris is back to spread the word of hate about H!P once more, this time focusing on photobooks, his disgust of Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance and brutal violence towards a certain Morning Musume member, among other topics. Seriously, The Chris needs to post more as the ranting about his distaste for H!P artists is always a pleasure and most of all a fun read. Well, as long as he doesn’t say a bad word about any of my personal faves that is! *shakes fist*
From the second post on, Paul is in charge again. He looks at the recent Berryz double A-side single and as I expected, he greatly enjoyed both songs and their PV’s, slightly preferring Rival. I couldn’t agree more with Paul on his assessment of this release. While I’m not sure about the PV’s, I personally thought this single was the girls’ best effort yet. Paul’s only complaint was about the Rival PV and Chinami not having as pretty a dress as Risako, thus not being able to show off her body as effectively. Well Paul, my advice to you would be to watch the Dance Shot. If you look very very closely, you may find that she does indeed show off a little something after all… *cough*
Lastly there’s something that I suppose I’m almost obligated to write up, no? Someone did a metal cover of °C-ute’s second single Meguru Koi no Kisetsu and Paul has kindly shared it with us. Cool! How is it then? Well, to be completely honest with you, I’m not at all a fan of metal from the 80’s which inspired this cover. I dunno… too much hair perms, spandex and skin-tight leather pants for me. But don’t take my word for it, go check it out for yourself. It’s definitely worth a listen and you’ve got to appreciate the effort it took to make this: the author comments that it took him two weeks to complete it! If you like it, I’d advise you to check out other H!P metal covers, too, such as the ones by Evil Morning. There can never be too many H!P and metal crossbreeds!
