Not much to report after day 0 at Anime Expo. johpan and I arrived in LA shortly before Morning Musume did, but unfortunately we were in a different terminal. We immediately headed over to the press junket, so we weren’t able to see Morning Musume at the airport.

We arrived at the press junket on time and signed up for the 4th interview slot with Morning Musume. However, due to a delay in starting interviews with Morning Musume, and the choice of Morning Musume’s handler to choose specific press outlets rather than going by the sign up sheet order, we were unable to secure an interview with Morning Musume today. We have put in a 1-on-1 interview request, so hopefully we’ll be able to get an interview at some point.

However, we were able to meet up with a number of other bloggers and forum members today, and the energy of meeting all of these fellow fans is really bringing everyone’s excitement up.

Tomorrow will be Morning Musume’s panel at AX, followed by their first autograph session. Since there’s no reason for us to not get to Morning Musume’s panel, we should have more news to report tomorrow.
