Morning Musume Arrive in LA (Hello! Sayunii)
The big weekend has finally arrived! Morning Musume arrived at Los Angeles International Airport to cheering and fanfare on their way to the Anime Expo press junket. There are a few videos circulating around the internet of the girls coming through customs, and Hello! Sayunii has them for you to check out. Wow, this is exciting!
I wanted to also take this time to remind everyone that this is Morning Musume and UFA’s first public appearance on American soil. I am sure on some levels they are a bit nervous about it. And they want this to be as big a success as we do. This has already become a huge event and they have been in the country for about 10 hours. It would be a good idea to give the organization a little space and allow them to get comfortable. I am sure UFA would love to make everyone happy. But the fact is not everyone is going to get interviews or autographs. As a member of IW staff who is going to be in attendance I am just delighted to be able to see one of my favorite groups perform this weekend. Everything else will be gravy…

Isn’t Hawaii American soil?
I guess it’s never been a public event here in Hawaii just yet (FC members only)….although if UFI truly goes international maybe we’ll get *lucky* with a show here? Dreaming ne~! Although if one can be at the right place at the right moment on this island when Momusu visits you could actually bump into them during one of their Alo-Hello! shoots or FC events…..awww they’ve actually been at one of our shopping centers and at parks & beaches nearby but I had no idea till seeing it on their DVD. XD
