The long awaited PV for AKB48’s upcoming single finally surfaced last week.  And while the AKB48 faithful are excited about the new single, the PV has even caught the fancy of a few non-fanatics.  And this is just the beginning!  PVs of the other two tracks on the single showed up online today.  But for now we talk about RIVER RIVER RIVER!!!

BTW, I was so happy to see these posts!

Vee thanks AKB for helping her get her “idol groove” back.  She gives a little background of her history following the group, and likens it to her earlier days with Momusu.  Vee doesn’t give any specifics of what she loves so much about the single other than it being pure idol joy.  But she marks the moment as her embarking on the S.S. AKB Wota.  And since she is a Meetan fan like yours truly, I couldn’t be any more content!  Oh yeah, her little blurb at the end re: bikinis had me LOLing!

Wendy still says she isn’t an AKB Wota yet.  But who is she kidding?  It is all she has talked about for the past month! (hehe)  If my addition is correct, she has already listened to the song over 200 times.  And she is loving the roles of the new Team B in the PV.  She also contemplates whether or not River is the “best song ever”.

Arche-JoIyO is laughing, clapping and having a grand ole’ time with the PV.  She loves the chorus, laughs at the beginning rap and has plenty of choice screencaps to ogle at.  And as hardcore as the video attempts to be, she laughs the hardest at the resemblance to High School Musical!

High School Musical?  Really???

And if you like this PV, just wait till you see/hear the B-side from the Undergirls!
