Sarah Brightman To Sing Her First Japanese Song

Sarah Brightman sings for “Saka no Ue no Kumo” (Tokyograph)

This may not fall quite into the usual writeups done here on IW, but I’m a huge musical geek, and The Phantom of the Opera was the first musical that I really got into, and Sarah Brightman will forever be THE Christine DaaĆ© in my books. Thus, this is very interesting news to me.

Tokyograph reports that Sarah will be singing the main theme song for an upcoming historical drama series, “Saka no Ue no Kumo”, and the lyrics to the theme are in Japanese. The song will be released on the drama’s soundtrack on November 18th. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing Sarah sing in Japanese.
