CK in Japan, Days 9-10…A Special Day for a Special Girl

Contining on with CK’s adventure in Japan, with his two Days 5-7 posts, I got a little confused with the lack of a chronological order to things. However, in the first Day 5-7 post, he gives a full review of one of the three SDN48 concerts that he attended. He warns that the review is not for “kiddies” though he has tried to keep things as clean as possible. I don’t know what it is about this guy, but he seems to have perfect timing for his visits to Japan and the concerts he attends as this concert just so happened to be one of the girls’ birthday concert.

The second Day 5-7 post has some sightseeing highlights from CK. He headed over to Tokyo Tower and had some Pizza-La pizza… I’m so jealous! I want some Buono! endorsed pizza. For some reason, I feel like knowing that Natsuyaki Miyabi eats the pizza (even if just for the commercials – and Buono! concert VTRs) would make the pizza taste better. XD

Day 8 was filled with AKB’s stage play Infinity. CK caught both shows for the day and as it seems to be the case with all of these AKB/SDN shows he’s gone to, he got some (quick) one on one time with a few of the girls after the show. He goes into a quick synopsis of the storyline, so if you don’t want spoilers, skip over that part. Otherwise, he goes over the individual girls performances and makes some comparisions between the morning and afternoon shows. Afterwards, he headed back to Akihabara to watch SDN48 one more time on the theatre monitors and got another “High Touch” experience in, it seems. I’m surprised that he could get in for the “High Touch” even though he didn’t have a ticket for that show. Then again, I don’t know much about how they run things for SDN48.

CK’s Days 9-10 post features a review on Morning Musume’s fall concert, which he attended with fellow IW contributor, Celestia. Now, like I said earlier, this guy somehow has all the luck as for this concert, he just so happened to attend another birthday concert. This time for his favourite member of Hello! Project, Tanaka Reina. He and Celestia were in the 5th row for this concert, so when the girls came to their corner of the stage, they were pretty close up. He an interesting and detailed review of the concert, but I have to say my favourite part was a random comment made in the midst of the performance rundowns:

By the way, when JunJun came over to our end of the stage I noticed her legs are even more impressive than Aichan’s.

Her name isn’t Li Chun for nothing! XD

CK is pretty much on his way home now, but promises a summary post once he’s settled back in.
