Even with the holidays coming up, there is much going on around the AKB48 Theater.  The girls are sure going to be busy preparing for their new units and stages this Winter.  The first post is a transcript of a Q&A conducted at the theater last week featuring Akimoto-sama, the theater owner and the four new team captains.  It is an extremely revealing article, revealing some of the strategies going on behind the scenes.  As a fan I couldn’t help but feel good after reading this.  They certainly recognize what makes AKB48 so special and popular.  They explain why some of the girls get front and center attention.  The only startling statement to me was the one about Oku Manami being the new “Ace”.  They must know something I don’t!

In the second post Hina takes a hint from a cryptic blog post by Ohori Megumi.  It seems there are a few “secret videos” being filmed right now.  And Meetan is involved with one of them.  Since she will be exiting from AKB48 to full time SDN duties soon, I highly doubt she has been chosen for Senbatsu.  Could it be that SDN48 is about to release their first single?  Hina also connects the dots to a similar cryptic post by members of SKE48.  Now that is odd.  Personally I can’t see how those two outfits are going to collaborate…

Then again, it wouldn’t be the first or the last surprise we see from AkiP and the gang!
