Ichigo Ichie (091105) (Erien #1223)

Ondiet doesn’t usually translate Takahashi Ai’s Ichigo Ichie, but seeeing as the usual translator for the radio show has decided to stop translating, Ondiet decided to give it a go (this is the second time I remember reading an Ichigo Ichie translation by Ondiet). This was a fun show with Ai-chan having her first non-Morning Musume member guest. Berryz Koubou member Sudou Maasa got this distinction.

I love how Ai continues to try to get other Hello! Project members to call her Ai-chan. I didn’t realize that she was doing this outside of Morning Musume members, but seeing as next week she’s scheduled to have another Berryz Koubou member on as a guest, we’ll see if she really is trying to get the whole of Hello! Project (or at least the members of the main H!P groups) to call her Ai-chan. Ai is definitely a leader you can see as being close with her troops. On the other hand, I could never imagine any of the H!P Kids calling former H!P leader Nakazawa Yuko “Yuu-chan”.

Even though this doesn’t seem to be something Ondiet will be doing regularly, this was definitely an enjoyable translation to read.
