RIVER! RIVER! RIVER! (Creamed Potatoes)

Let me start off by saying that the second and third PVs are from an AKB48 TV show and are not actual PVs and the face paint one is not the official US version. (There have been a lot of misunderstandings.)  Moving on, PrivateLaughter has decided to talk about each of the three PVs available to us. She likes the “official” video but isn’t too happy about the lack of plot.  However, she seems to really like the face paint PV directed by J.X. Carrera.  This made me smile although I’m not totally loving it because I’ve been seeing a lot of hate towards this version around forums and blogs.  I hadn’t even really thought about the paint drop until PL pointed it out…

PL then talks about the last PV directed by Mike Fox. Personally I liked this one more than J.X. Carrera’s, but okay.  She compares the man in the PV to Johnny Depp (Oh dear, I see the resemblance) and really, young girls shouldn’t be talking to a stranger.  The end is amusing though.  In my opinion, I still like the official PV the best.  The flower thing is kind of heart-warming and I’m not hard to win over so the awesome helicopter made me go OMG COOL!  Either way though, I enjoyed reading PL’s post.
