2009 Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA) – Winner list (K Bites)
AKB48 grace the MAMA, 2PM’s Taecyeon is caught interested (OMONA THEY DIDN’T!)

This past weekend, the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) were broadcasted and sookyeong has the results on who won each category! I won’t ruin all the results for those of you who haven’t seen them yet, but I must say kudos to 2NE1 for winning best female newcomer! They’ve definitely earned it for their work this year; although I might not be the hugest fan of them (I admit it – I really hate Fire), I do admit that they’ve worked hard for this and they’re really talented. Also, a surprising tidbit: AKB48 won the Asian Recommend Award! I’m really proud of them and all they’ve accomplished this year; here’s to another year of success! They performed RIVER at MAMA, and it seemed to get a good reaction from 2PM Taecyeon! Some of the audience seemed to be unsure of how to react, but I think AKB48 gave a good impression overall! It was a really pleasant surprise to read over sookyeong’s list of winners in the first link and see their name; I hope to see them win more awards as the year comes to a close!
