It’s funny what a new software program will inspire…

Celestia decided to edit together a few videos, counting down her favorite 100 songs, videos and performances from Hello! Project history.  When I first saw this I was immediately reminded of the video billboards that appear all over Tokyo.  One of the promos they run is the occasional Oricon Top 10, and I always get a kick out of seeing some of my favorite acts blasting over the local boulevard.  But back to Celestia…

I can personally attest that these videos are a lot of fun to watch.  In fact I watched all eight in one sitting!  At first I thought it would only be the H!P PVs, but Celestia has included some great and memorable live performances.  Some cool surprises were Berryz crying through Bye Bye Mata Ne, and I was really excited to see the new Buono! represented.  We still haven’t seen that complete video yet!  There were a couple of PVs I had never seen before.  And as a special bonus, select posts contain a bit of Celestia’s snarky commentary (Yatta!)

Before you start crying foul because some of your faves aren’t here.  Remember that there are two more installments left.  I am anxiously waiting to see if some of my faves make it.  Although I am sure at least a couple I have in my head will be left off.  Hmmm, that’s okay.  It just means I’ll have a post of my own to do…
