Yes, the entire group!  It’s not like the girls of AKB aren’t busy enough.  With the team shuffles looming and continuing promotions for RIVER.  Now they are getting their own drama.  Written and created by AKB48 producer Akimoto Yasushi, Majisuka Gakuen will premiere next month in the same time slot “Mendol” appeared in last year, and will star (who else?) Atsuko Maeda.  Rumor has it that Oku Manami will also have a prominent role in the show, and we might even see some SDN48 members.  TV Tokyo’s website already has a page for the drama, which premieres January 8th.

I can’t wait!  If I’m lucky Meetan will have a role as the naughty Science professor.
