Kusumi Koharu Officially Graduates From Morning Musume and Hello! Project (Hello! Sayunii)
The Era of the Stable 9-nin Musume has Ended (fields of maiZe and berryZ)
Koha, You’ll Be Missed (Hello!Blog)
Kusumi Koharu Sotsugyou Shimasu (Conflict Productions)
“She’s a genki girl, in a genki world… living life spastic, she’s cracktastic!” (Super Happy Genki Hyperforce GO!)
I know quite a few people pulled all-nighters waiting for up to the minute Koha news from the various reporting sites. From what I have read it was a super-emotional graduation event. Yes, Koharu went out in fine style. Here’s the first batch of reactions…
Sayunii has the news as it was reported from the venue, including excerpts from the girls’ graduation speeches. I say “excerpts” because I have read that the original 2ch reports were paraphrased, and not actually the full conversations. Sayunii has plenty of event photos and the answer to the question “What was Koharu’s graduation song?” I see the logic in the song choice, but personally I wanted them to pick something different.
MaiZe reminds us what a character Koharu was within H!P. Many people have said that MM has been missing personality over the last couple of years. That definitely wasn’t the case when it comes to Koha! MaiZe has uploaded a couple of recent Music Fighter appearances to put a smile on every-one’s face.
I know this has hit PTom especially hard, as he has championed Koharu for as long as I have been reading Hello!Blog. It makes him sad when he thinks about idols of yesterday and how they slowly drift away from the limelight. We all say we will follow our favorite idols no matter what! And a few actually do. Only time will tell when it comes to Koharu’s future career. He uploads his favorite Kirarin PV. Yep, probably one of my faves as well!
Siggy’s post serves as a personal analysis of what graduations mean to him, from definition to personal reaction. Since he jumped on the H!P fanwagon right about the time Koharu joined he had the pleasure of watching her develop from “Miracle Brat” to “Miracle young lady”. It is a really nice post that might make you rethink your feelings when an idol leaves their nest.
SHG theorizes what this graduation might really mean when it comes to the “big picture” of Morning Musume. She has a couple of ideas of what Tsunku might be aiming for with the group’s future. And with that a couple more graduations (and new additions!) would be in order. She ends the post with a bit of “cracktastic” eyecandy!
More to come…
