Meet Momoiro Clover (CK’s H!P Blog)

I love that CK always finds and introduces new groups for us on his blog! Most of the time, I’ve already known a bit about whichever group he writes about, but this time, the group is completely new to me. Momoiro Clover is a six member group with idols from age 13 to 16. They have a “gimmick” (that I think is completely adorable) that is different from H!P/AKB48/Idoling’s, though: yukatas! They have a slightly more traditional sound, which I’m totally fine with – so many songs are trying to be different recently that being traditional is actually different! Anyway, CK has a couple of photos of the girls along with the PVs for their two singles. He also links their official website and member profiles (which has their photos and names in kanji and romaji, for those of you who want to know their names). I’m very interested in this group, they really have a lot of potential! In fact, I even have a favorite member already (yes, I choose fast!), she just stands out to me a lot in their second single.
