Happy New Year (Hello!Blog)

Yes, I was one of the lucky few who got a celebratory text message from PTom on New Year’s eve.  Fortunately it was only around 9pm when it came in.  But I’m sure most of his friends in Europe were in a heavy New Year induced coma at the time.  As for the rest of the post…

First we get the countdown video from Hangy&Angry themselves.  I think they were in Taiwan at the time, right?  That might be the first time I have ever seen a Hello! Project member on video after 9pm!  The rest of the post has the sales rankings for H!P at CD Japan.  I like seeing those DVD rankings, as it seems to be where H!P flourishes.  The figures are comparatively better than those of the CDs.  PTom had a really tough year, Hello! Project-wise.  He saw many of his favorite members leave the company.  But he still found things to love about H!P in 2009.  And although he didn’t make it to Japan this year, he still managed to see both Morning Musume and H&A in concert.  So I’d say overall it was a 2009 to remember.

And now for my next project, get PTom to make another trip to Awesome Island!
