For those of you who missed it, Annie has posted stills from AKB48’s recent appearances at Kouhaku and the Japan Record Awards.  Now as usual with NHK, the YouTube video was taken down about as quickly as it was put up.  I figured as much, so I downloaded it the moment I saw it New Year’s morning.  It was a cute, albeit brief appearance.  Unfortunately they didn’t have 100 girls on stage as AkiP originally planned (more like 74)  The good news is as of this writing the second post’s video still works.  So hurry over and check it out that performance while you can.
