2009 Mixi Results! (Where’s Natsuki?)
Where’s Natsuki? She’s at 36. Where’s Meetan? Not on the list! 
I am still trying to figure out if RSL is happy about Nacchi’s showing in this year’s Mixi Rankings, a fan site where many AKB fans mingle. I know she’s not the most popular member. But she ranks a lot higher on my personal pecking order. RSL has the list, and presents it in a few different and interesting ways.
As far as the rest of the list. Your usual cast of characters are around the top. So there are no huge surprises, except maybe that Shinoda Mariko is at #1, leaving Acchan languishing in 2nd place. But I think I am most surprised to see my beloved Wasamin all the way down at #44. That’s okay, I’ll keep her all for myself…and Samantha from Egao YES Idols (another Wasamin supporter).

I really am happy for her. Sure, it’s not where I’d like her to place (24-ish), but it’s okay. She’s been dropping in popularity since her peak in January 2008, and now that RS are filling up Teams and senbatsu, she’s just going downhill. Considering she’s the oldest in the New Team B, I think a great unit (solo unit with bass guitar please) could boost her popularity ala CinDy or Ohori.
