International Wota is a group blog dedicated to sharing the latest and most interesting internet content devoted to Japanese music and idols. We strongly encourage others to join us and help build the online community.

Joining International Wota

If you’re interested in joining as a contributor to the site, please e-mail Ray at ray@mescallado.com with the heading “International Wota Contributor”.

Contributors to International Wota are asked to submit at least three blog entries a week. Given typical web-surfing habits and a natural ability to think up a snarky comment or two, that adds up to maybe fifteen minutes a week. We’re all busy, though, with real life and (in most cases) our own blogs - so if you can’t do three a week, don’t sweat it. Whatever you can manage, whenever you can manage, is fine.

Blog Entry Format

Page Title: Category in Brackets, Then Title

Page Content: First paragraph, Link using Title of Blog Entry, Forum Thread, or Webpage Name. Second paragraph, short description and review of the link.

All links should be to internet content devoted specifically to Japanese music and idols. While many of us have other related interests, International Wota will best serve its potential readership by focusing specifically on these topics.

Gentleman’s Agreement

Contributors are urged to promote other people’s work, not their own. Though if you write a really great post and nobody gives you props here after a day or so, who can blame you if you need to blow your own horn? But give it that day or so, at least.
