Hi!!! Today I give you 2 Team A members and a B member. Takamina is so legend, she’s super excited about everything and talks non stop, while Reina is more on the quiet side and Yonechan is very good at leading Takamina’s babbling to some kind of point XD

(Srsly, WTF? Fujie was trying to be pushed around that time, so I understand that, but Rumi? I adore Rumi, but she’s all kinds of underdog material. She even missed senbatsu for just 3 votes but got kicked out of undergirls nonetheless, so I just don’t get this choice at all)

·      Takamina is ALL OVER Sayaka in “Sougen no Kiseki”. She even starts chanting her name at all the wrong moments XD I love how all AKB girls are Sayaka wotas Then Fujie tries to think of a Team A song with this kind of feeling, and Takamina says “Of course, Mirai no Tobira!” and starts humming it, but that song was long before Fujie was around XD Bummer.

·      It’s “Kuroi Tenshi” time, and Reinyan is all excited because this is her unit. The girls all think that this unit is very cool and sexy, and Reina explains that it has a very complicated choreography because they have to shove the microphones in every other girl’s face and it could be pretty dangerous XD Takamina says that there’s a huge gap between Acchan of Nagisa no Cherry and this Acchan, so that fans wen to watch A5 thinking “Oh, Acchan is so cute” but they learned that she can also be cool.

·      “Wasshoi B!” comes next, and Takamina is all giddy about it. She thinks that this is super cute, and she loves it! She was really surprised that they included the names of the girls in he lyrics!  They’re all having fun singing along to the Wasshoi parts XD Takamina and Reina are jealous because B and K have theme songs while A has none, so Rumi tells them that Team A’s theme songs are the ones with AKB in their title, but Takamina won’t buy that XD She says “I want something like A, A, A WASSHOI!” LOL

·      “Nakinagara Hohoende” starts playing, and Takamina explains that she loves it so much that she returned to the hinadan just to watch it She also explains that Yuko was really nervous when they told her that she had to be solo here, but she still did great (like she always does <3) and Rumi says that the first AKB show she watched was K3 and she really remembers this performance from it. To sum all their comments in one: They think that only Yuko could manage to use the stage just for herself in a song like this .

·      “YumeShina” XD aka. Yume wo Shinaseru Wake ni Ikanai has a choreography that Takamina really loves, she’s always happy whenever she’s able to dance to it. She says that it’s a really long title, but it’s still cool, so it’s ok They say that even though AKB are idols, they’re glad that they can sing songs like this sometimes too.

·      Takamina says that “Only Today” is one of the most popular songs among Team A members, they all love it! Rumi says that back when she first joined Team B, they went to a Team A lesson, and she had to dance to this song, but she couldn’t do it at all XD So Takamina asks her what did she think of her back when she first saw her and Rumi replies “The girl in the center is tiny!” XD LOL

·      They all like BINGO! a lot, they think that it’s a fun song. Takamina says that the dance was really difficult for her at first. Reinyan comments that this was the audition song for Kenkyuuseis, Rumi says that Team B’s was Virgin Love and Takamina says that Team K’s was AKB48

·      Apparently, when Takamina first saw the “Tenshi no Shippo” costumes she thought “What the hell??? But they’re cute!” She says that she’d like to perform this song, and tells Rumi “Because in a song like this, it’s ok if the center girl is tiny” XD

·      In “Renai Kinshi Jourei” they all agree that it’s super cool, and Takamina says that because there were no microphones, only headsets, she didn’t know what to do with her hands most of the time at first XD Also, she says that it made her really happy to be placed in a “dance unit” for the first time.

·      “Sasae” starts, and the girls are mostly quiet during the song, they say that it’s a really great song, and Rumi says that the feeling of having your whole team supporting you it’s amazing, so she compares it to B’s Shonichi. Is Takamina crying there? O_O

·      They all think that “Gomen ne Jewel” is a great song, and they love the costumes because they’re sparkly Also, Takamina LOLs at Rumi because she’s apparently dancing way too enthusiastically in the hinadan “But the fun part of AX is that you can watch all the performances!!” she replies, although she admits that it’s a bit embarrassing XD They also say that Team K always gets the difficult dances so they admire them for that

·      When the background music for “Faint” starts, the girls are all super happy to see Hana! Also, Takamina  says that Faint was the first dance unit given to Team A so she was very happy about that.

·      About “Junai no Crescendo” Takamina says that this was a difficult dance to learn (are there too many difficult dances in this part of the concert? or does she just find most of the dances complicated? XD) and she says that she was very surprised to see how grown up Miichan looks in this despite her age.

·      They are all TOO excited about “Kioku no Dilemma”, because apparently they all think that it’s an amazingly good song. So much, that Rumi has had it on “endless repeat” in her music player! They also gush about the costumes, saying that they are awesome, and there’s never been something like that before in AKB.

·      “Oshibe to Meshibe to Yoru to no Chouchou” turns the girls into a fangirling overly excited giggling bunch. They are just “Ohhh-ing” and “Ahhh-ing” at everything XD

Ah! This is definitely my favorite part of the commentary, these girls are hilarious! They are fangirling about every song, making fun of each other, imagining what would it be like to sing those songs themselves in a crazy way… Really, Team K is so awesome! :D

• The girls say that  the arm waving choreography in “Ai ni Ikou” is very concert-like, and Sae thinks that even though it sounds happy, this song has sad lyrics, so it was difficult for her to get the feeling right.

• In “Heart Gata Virus” they all say that it’s a very cute song, and Nacchi says “If there’s ever a Team K version, I’d like to see Sae, Sayaka and Yuka, I’m sure that the feeling of the song would change completely” XD

• “Nagisa no Cherry” ft. Acchan XD the girls say that it’s cute how her hair now looks like her hair back in A2, and how AX is nice because it brings back old songs. (although Nagisa no Cherry has been WAY overplayed lately, IMO)

• “Baby Baby Baby” starts, and Sayaka says “OHH COLORFUL” She’s so cute Then the girls go on about how they all look like dolls and everyone looks cute.

• “Kagami no Naka no Jeanne da Arc” is a favorite of the girls, and Nacchi and Sayaka talk about how they performed it at the shuffle concert. Then Sayaka says that she performed it with Team B once too, and she randomly says that she really loves Sasshi XD

• It’s “Korogaru Ishi ni Nare” K2 style! Sayaka says that she loves the look on Yuko’s face when she sings Korogaru, because she looks super fierce! Nacchi says that the first time she read the lyrics, the “We’re the Team K” part was really surprising and in K2 shonichi, the fans loved it right away.

• “Nage Kiss no uchiotose” starts, and Kayano comes out so the girls point out how AX is nice because it brings back the graduated members. They also say that they’d love to do a K version where all the girls would be in black suits pointing guns at people XD Man, these girls are crazy!

• The girls say that they really love “Kaiyuugyo no Capacity”, the choreography and all about it. They say that it’s a very cool song, and they are rather surprised at how cool it looks, because they say that they’ve never quite seen it like this, because being there dancing it makes it look different.

• In”Namida no Shounan” Sayaka and Sae talk about how they’d love to perform this, and Nacchi says that she’s already done it in JCB so the girls get jealous XD Sayaka is really bummed that she couldn’t make it to that concert, and asks who performed it, and when Nacchi says that it was her, Yuko and Natsumi she laughs because Yuko is tiny so she doesn’t really fit in this unit, so Nacchi says “Not really, because Yuko can look huge when she performs, that’s her biggest strenght” (The Yuko fangirl in me had to include this part :D)

• When “Tsundere” satrts they talk about how Tomochin and Amina really fit this song, but Kitarie looks like she’s trying to learn from them, which makes her even cuter. And Sayaka says that she’d like to perform this song “A Real Life Tsundere” she says XD

• About “Kinjirareta Futari” they say that they love the overall feeling of the song, it’s very mysterious and pretty. And they also say that because Yuko and Tomomi are so feminine they can pull off this song very well. LOL at Nacchi saying “Why is it that Tomomi-chan always fits so well in this type of songs’”

• In “SHAMUNEKO” they laugh because the stage is so big compared to the theater that they have to make all of the dance steps look wider, so they say “This isn’t a cat, it’s a CHEETAH LOLOL”

Hi! Welcome back to another installment of this little series. Today we have a Team A only group with Haruna, Myao and Mariko. The feeling I got from listening to this part of the commentary is that there is quite a gap between original (or pseudo original in Mariko’s case) A members and the new generation. That is not to say that Mariko and Haruna were mean to Myao or anything, but there’s simply a quite noticeable difference between them.

 

Mariko said that “Blue Rose” was the song she wanted to watch the most, they all think that it’s super cool, and Myao talks about how she was very surprised when Meetan took ff her trenchcoat to reveal her gold bikini last year XD

 

“tadaima renaichuu” is a very popular song, and the girls all agree that fans get really excited to watch this performed. Then Haruna and Mariko say that Myao is very cute, and after that, whenever Mariko appears, she says “OH HOW CUTE I AM” to herself XD

 

“SKE48″ is song number 48 so the girls hype about this for a bit, then Myao says that she’s been to the big wheel thingy in sunshine sakae with Takai Tsukina. Then she says her catchphrase and explains that it’s like a song, so Haruna goes “What kind of song is that???”

 

The girls say that “Aozora no soba ni ite” is a very nostalgic song, and it’s cute and also, the choreography is very cute. And Haruna tries to explain how she feels when she sings this song but fails at it XD

 

In “Tonari no Banana” Mariko and Haruna ask Myao if she’s performed this song before, because it looks like “her style”, so Myao says that she’d like to perform it some time, doing Kasai’s part with Erepyon.

 

“KimiPega” LOL Haruna says that when she performed this song she thought that it was very difficult because it’s a cool song, so she rehearsed a lot to get the feeling right. Myao doesn’t know what a Pegasus is, so Mariko explains that it’s a dream horse. So Myao goes “Ahhh, like Napoleon’s horse or something?” LOL

 

It’s “Bye Bye Bye” time, so Haruna is all excited. She says that she really loves the costume and there’s a part where Miichan and her start jumping around weirdly, so Mariko says “WTH is that” and Nyan explains that they’re doing an A and then  X : AX! O_O

 

Myao says that she loves “Shiroi Shirts” so she starts clapping along XD The letters on the girls read: In AX too, let’s sing all together Shroi Shirts with a smile

 

In “Confession”  Mariko isn’t sure if she performed it or not, until she sees herself there XD The girls talk about how cool she looks in this song, and Haruna says that she loves it. Myao doesn’t know what a confession is either XD Lucky for her, Mariko the dictionary saves the day again

 

It’s “Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka” senbatsu version. And that’s pretty much all they say, other than the usual “Oh that costume is cute” or “XXX looks cute there”

 

“Amai Kokansetsu” plays and Mariko says “Funny, after the super young unit of Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka” then she starts pestering Myao about how he should give it a shot, and Myao says that she’d love to perform this song in that outfit too!

 

according to Mariko, “Himawari” is a song that can make you happy (I agree). Myao says that it’s very concert-like.

 

“7ji 12fun no hatsukoi” it’s the song that Myao wanted to watch the most, because she’s part of it. She talks about how Chiichan was very happy that she got to wear pink, which is her favorite color.

Here’s the 2nd part of Disc 2, featuring the ultra cute and pretty Kenkyuusei - turned members Sasshi (Sashihara Rino of Team B), Kitarie (Kitahara Rie of A) and Mocchi (Kuramochi Asuka of K) what I really like about this part of the commentary is that you can see how close this girls are because they were all kenkyuuseis, and how they are really supportive of the trainees Also, this girls really love AKB a lot, they are basically gushing about every song. And I just love them so much, they are sort of the new generation!

 

·      Crap, this version of Romance Irane is way long X_X Anyway, the girls are overly excited everytime they see a former Kenkyuusei among the members They also love the dresses. And they think that the choreography is very difficult to learn.

 

·      They love Narita, apparently! Also, Kitarie says that she was very nervous to appear alongside all of this original members, so she was relieved when people called out her name too. Mocchi and Sasshi applaud when the audience cheers for Rie, which is rather cute too!

 

·      In “Idol Nante Yobanaide” they all think that it’s very cute, but they wonder if they could pull it off in case they had to They are also cheering for the Kenkyuuseis. A LOT.

 

·      “Boku to Juliet to Jet Coaster” is pure love, according to the girls. Sasshi won’t shut up at all, she’s amazing XD She says that Yuko is the coolest person ever (of course she is) and that Amina is adorable, and that she’s just super happy to see an AKB version of this song

 

·      “16 nin shimai no uta” just makes the girls giggle all the while. They find every  member cute, they think that the lyrics are genius…. They just plain LOVE this thing from beginning to end!

 

·      They love the “Namida Uri no Shoujo” outfits very much, and of course, are super excited to see Kitarie and Amina in the unit. They also state how shiny Cindy’s tiara looks in contrast with the dark dresses XD

 

·      In “Melos no Michi”, Asuka explains that the choreography is supposed to resemble a fight, and how they have teams and she’s in Nontii team, so Sasshi says she’d love to be in that team by Mocchi’s side too… or something.

 

·      Hmm… All they do is babble about how cute “Koi no chewing” is… seriously, there’s only like a gazillion “Kawaii” all over the place…

 

·      Sasshi loves “Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta”, especially the lyrics. And she also randomly loves Yukarin. Very much. LOLWUT

 

·      They all love “Erai Hito ni Naritakunai”, they sing along and all. And also, they think that Sayaka’s smile is super bright and cute

 

·      “Two years later” becomes the “find Sasshi” game for the girls, and the saddest part is that the camera doesn’t focus on her even once It’s still funny to hear the others tell her “Maybe it will end with a close up of you…” but it never really happens

 

·      The girls are all over “Dareka no tame ni” they love the lyrics, and Mocchi thinks that this should be a single.

 

·      Sasshi and Rie think that “RUN RUN RUN” is very cute because of its girly lyrics.

 

OMG Kitarie marry me? ;_; Why are you so cute and pretty ;_;

Hi people! Here I bring you one of my absolute favorite members, the incredibly adorable Kasai Tomomi, who is also unexpectedly educated in matters of love, as it would appear by her constant lecturing of senior Noro Kayo who doesn’t understand a single line of any love song in the world XD Plus, there’s Akicha!! But she never says much here anyway

Third Part ft. Akicha, Tomomi-chan and Nontii

• They talk about how nostalgic “Anata to Christmas Eve” is, and how difficult it is to sing this song. So Nontii teases Tomo and tells her that she should try and sing it until Tomo goes “No, stop it, you know that I suck at singing T_T” XD

• “Mammoth” is a very K-ish song, they all agree that it’s rather cool, revolutionary and un-idol-like.

• Nontii talks abut how she was a senbatsu in “Aitakatta” and she was surprised to see herself in the posters. When they went to a TV show, Nontii went to Akimoto and told him “Hey, I can’t wear a school uniform!!” XD Also, there’s a lot of praising of “Takajo Points” LOL That means that whenever the camera focuses on Akicha she’s doing something cute <3

• Here Tomomi can’t stop saying how “mysterious” Mori e ikou is, she repeats it like 3 times XD While Nontii finds some parts of the choreography quite weird, and Akicha talks about how she likes stand mikes… Nontii and Tomo totally forget that there are stand mikes in K4 during Coolgirl XD

• Tomo says how much she’d love being in “Shinkirou” so Nontii says that it’s similar to KinjiFuta, so Tomo schools her in love song culture and tells her that this is a good bye song, as opposed to KinjiFuta, which is a song about declaring your love. Pwned.

• This is a really cute one Tomo says that “Futari nori no Jitensha” (riding a bike together) is actually a dangerous thing, but she still understands very well the meaning behind such a dream.

• Nontii pokes fun at Tomo’s sparkly make up in “Aisareru to Iu Koto” while Kasai adds that this costume makes walking a very difficult task XD

• Nontii says that “Dear My Teacher” A version is kind of cute, while she thinks that whenever Team K sings it it ends up sounding like “COME COME COME” So Tomo freaks out because that might give people a wrong impression of K! XD

• “Boku no Sakura” is a very idol-like ballad, and the girls find it super cute.

• Tomo and Nontii think that “Hatsukoi Doroubou” is the cutest thing ever, and only Erena, Manami and Kaoru can pull off such cuteness! Also, it’s amusing how Tomo really understands all of these love songs while Nontii is really thick at getting the meaning XD

• For the girls, “Hajimete no jelly Beans” is super cute (they’re especially excited about the confetti) and they want to be Sae. Just because she’s that awesome.

• They find it hilarious that Takamina looks tiny in Rinatin’s “Kikyou” costume XD Mean girls… Also, Tomo babbles about how she’s from Tokyo, so she has no hometown to return to XD

Aw… Tomo, you’re the best! ;__;

Hi everyone! Thanks for the comments! I’m glad that you liked this idea I’ll try and make the rest of the translations a bit bigger in content from now on I think XD.

So here’s Disc 1 Second part ft. Miichan, Lovetan and Nacchan (I have to say that I love Miichan taking the lead and saying “Ok, so don’t just shut up, because that’s boring, and don’t dance along, because people can’t see that so use your voices Ok? XD)

• The outfit for “Kiss Shite Sonshichatta” is based on the uniforms of american schools. Wut.

• “Hizukehenkousen” The costumes are “simple is best” XD That’s a quote right there. Also, B version is very energetic while K makes the song sound very grown up

• In “Inochi no Tsukaimichi” the line DAREKA NI AISARETAI is kind of masked, so Miichan thought it said “Dare Kore Sore Are” which means “Who This That” XD

• “Koike” is Mariko’s trademark song (but we all knew that already…) and then Nacchan and Miichan reminisce about their time together in A2, saying random stuff like “Haruna’s ponytail is nostalgic” and “This choreography is funny and there’s a part that looks like a fish” XD

• They all love “Ki ni Naru tenkousei” wish that they could sing it at karaoke and think that it’s very K-ish. Also, Miichan is jealous of Yuko because she can wink while Mii can’t XD She thinks that it’s a very idoly thing and feels sad that she fails at it.

• Miichan loves “Seishun no Inazuma” because of the difficult choreography. She also says that Team K are the best dancers so it was fun to do dance lessons with them. And at Sayaka’s fierce solo bit: “OMFG!!! She totally forgot that she was wearing a skirt!!!!” XD

• In “Boku no Taiyou” they talk about how cute Sayaka becomes when singing this type of songs, and also, Haruna winks so Miichan enters jealousy mode again XD

• About “DARUIKANJI” they remark how cool is the “Megane Megane” Miichan chant, and how she looks like a bad schoolgirl with her glasses on. Also, Mii states that this is a very A-ish song, and it’s sexy.

• “Stand Up” OOOOHHHH EVERYONE IS SO COOL!!! Also, Nacchan states how she loves it that in the theater you can actually hear their stomps during this song which makes it even cooler for her.

• Nacchan says that she loves the arm waving choreography in “Yakusoku yo” because it invites people to wave their arms along with them!

• The girls all agree that “Senaka Kara Dakishimete” is a great song, and they love the lyrics very much. Also, Nacchan says that the accesories changed from A2 to the ones worn in B2, and apparently, they are wearing the B version in AX

• They are pointing out that Acchan and Haruna are the center girls in “Saigo no Seifuku”. Nacchan says that it reminds her of “Sakurairo no Sora no Shita de” and Lovetan says that it reminds her of Sakura no Hanabiratachi which was her audition song.

• About “Heart ga Kaze wo Hiita Yoru” Miichan says that she loves the costumes because they became horses, so Nacchan quickly adds “cowboys, it’s cowboys” XD Also we get a little story about how Lovetan is jealous of Erepyon when she hangs out with Mayuyu

LOL what a lame title… The thing is that I’m extra bored stuck in this hellhole of a city right now, so I’m doing the weirdest things to keep my sanity in check. The project I’m working on right now is this: TRANSLATING AX09 COMMENTARY!!!!

I’m sure that most of you won’t read this block of text kind of entries, but I had a lot of fun listening to this comments, and it can actually change your view on some of the girls to get to know their opinions a bit more. For example, I never cared much for Chikarina, but after reading all of her loving entries about Team K I can’t help but really ADORE this girl. So perhaps you can find this bits insightful? Some are a bit funny, even! Here’s the first part, so Enjoy!

First Part ft. Tomochin, Erepyon and Mayuyu

• Kasai actually plays the harmonica in Tomo yo, according to Pyon’s version of the Facts
• Erena loves Mr. Kissman so much that she thinks it should be a single
• Erena has a really hard time understanding the Word “suifu” (sailor) she swears that it’s “Mizu” (water )XD
• Tomomi, Kana and Erena couldn’t get the “Nounai Paradise” dance right, so they were always practicing more than the other girls
• The girls pestered Akimoto a lot and asked him what was the meaning of Takeuchi senpai, and he answered that the song was based on a rumor, and the title is simply because Takeuchi is one of the most common last names in Japan
• The “rutitarururatatadiida” part in the lyrics of “Hissatsu Teleport” lyrics is supposed to be a Spell that can teleport you next to the person you love. That’s cute
• Maimai was apparently very nervous when she had to sing “Haru ga Kuru Made” and the dress is supposed to resemble a butterfly
• Erena: OMFG I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH WHAT SHOULD I DO WHAT SHOULD I DO??? The others: O_O Erena: I REALLY WANT TO SING HUGURASHI NO KOI AT A SHUFFLE CONCERT!!!! The others: * blabbering about oshimeshi* poor Erena XD
• Sayaka’s nostalgic gaze in Mail no Namida is the cutest thing ever *__* Also, the girls feel that this song sounds very grown up and not so AKB-ish
• “Rider” is a very nostalgic song sung by the “Big Sister Team” (speaking of which, all of the girls in Rider have already graduated… Rider curse anyone?) Tomochin thinks that it must be worrisome for the girls to watch out for their sunglasses because they can’t let them fall down XD
• The girls feel that Return Match is exceedingly cool. Erena and Tomochin wish to play a guy role because they love the costume while Mayuyu would rather be a girl, of course.
• The girls talk about “Skirt, Hirari” and how it’s the original theater version. Tomochin states that these are the A1 costumes and then they go on about how they all have performed this song at different times…

Hi people! I’m back with another update (I hadn’t been able to update earlier because my keyboard got all messed up and it annoyed me, so yeah…) Before I start with this one, though, I want to invite all of you to visit my new Jpop blog, Macaroni-i! Hirajima Natsumi aka. Nacchan is another very prominent Team B member, but I bet YOU don’t know about her either I’m not a HUGE Nacchan fan, but I know someone who is, so please head over to Julia’s wonderful Nacchan worship site, Summer Sea!

Nakayan is one of my favorite Team B members. Which also means that she’s one of the least popular members on that team D: I don’t know what the hell is up with people, she is lovely, sweet, very kind and an excellent singer and dancer. Am I the only one who sees that? Why? She used to wear glasses before, and that actually guaranteed her more fans, but I’m all for her talent, she doesn’t need a gimmick to rock my world! <3

Inoue Naru aka. Naruppe used to be a Team B member, but she graduated this year D: WTH is Team B falling apart? They are so cool! Anyhow, Naruppe was one of the best singers of the group although she was pretty bad at dancing when she first started XD She was a very sweet girl too… I’ll miss her…

Naruse Risa aka. Naruru was a RS that got added to Team K this year. She is not such a great singer as Mochi (Kuramochi Asuka) is, but she has a lot of attitude when she’s on stage. She looks pretty cutesy too, I like her. She might be the skinniest girl in AKB though XD (yeah, skinnier than Sae, even)

Matsubara Natsumi aka. Nattsumii (yeah, that is a nickname, apparently XD) is a Team K member with a very sweet personality. I like Natsumii, especially because she is a very good performer, despite not being very popular. Also, she reminds me of Natsuyaki Miyabi, especially personality-wise, but also, there’s something similar in their faces…

Kawasaki Nozomi aka. Nozofisu is a Team A member and I <3 her. I’ve already profiled her and stuff… Well, she’s a gravure model, so she’s pretty hot. She’s shy and cute too. Very loveable!

Ohe Tomomi aka. Oh Yay Team A graduate Is a beautiful girl with lots of personality to spare. Ohe happens to be a bit crazy and out there, but that makes her all the more interesting! She is a great singer, but not much of a dancer, so it’s really cute to see her trying very hard to do all the right moves and FAILING XD. She’s going to be a model now, and even has a PB scheduled for next year, so thankfully she won’t disappear from the map!

Well, if you remember correctly, some posts ago I said that my least favorite AKB member was this girl, Fujie Reina aka. Reinyan. Well, she’s not my least favorite anymore XD She’s not my favorite either, but in A5 noticed how much she has improved and how she doesn’t really have all the camera time I thought she had back in A4 Revival. I like her soft husky voice and she is a good dancer. To be honest, I don’t ever notice her much, she doesn’t stand out all that much, but she’s pretty. And she changed her annoying catchphrase for something that I can bear (now I only need Myao to change hers and I’m set )

Narita Risa aka. Natarii is another Team A member who graduated this year (whoa, so many!) She is a very energetic girl and just SO incredibly cute! It saddens me that she’s not going to be around anymore, I actually really liked her and looked forward to seeing her in A5… Well, she’ll be a gravure model full time now, so it’s ok I guess.

Watanabe Shiho, former Team A member, then Team B member, then graduate (phew!) is a very beautiful girl. I especially like how graceful she became over the years, because back in A1 she was very awkward, stiff and had this unnatural smile in her face all the time! And then you watch B1 and she’s like whoa! She has everything nailed and under control!

Tanamin (Tanabe Miku) is one of my favorite Team B members. I really want her to be the most popular member on the Team but the management won’t help us with that XD. She’s gorgeus (as you can see with the pic) and one of the best dancers of AKB48 (if not the best). But she hardly ever gets a solo line T_T I hope that in B4 they have something good in store for her!

Yonezawa Rumi aka. Yonechan is an adorable Team B member. What I love about her is how she always gives 100% in everything she does! I swear, this girl is something else! She’s not exactly a ball of genki like nacchan or Harugon, but she’s always smiling and having fun so it’s really nice to watch her. She got a slightly bigger role in B3 than the usual, so I hope that this happens too in B4. She’s adorable, but I already said that XD

Meet one of the many reasons why Team K is so awesome. She’s no underdog (although she doesn’t get many singles) but since I’m assuming that some of my visitors might be casual fans who don’t watch theater performances I thought I’d introduce her here. Masuda Yuka, who is TOO freaking cool for a nickname. She’s (IMO) the best singer in the entire AKB48. And she’s also a great dancer. And she’s also beautiful. And she’s like 16 years old. Yeah, I LOVE Yuka, so I’ll post more about her in my favorites entry XD

Alright people, so this wraps up this picspam installment. Wait next time for a post on my favorites and another one on the popular girls! (or maybe it’ll just be the same post, since I like lots of popular girls…) Oh and BTW, Kikuchi Ayaka of Team B, who was fired earlier this year, was admitted back as a Kenkyuusei. I’ll probably write a post about that but yeah, I thought you should know XD

9. Yakusoku yo - Korogaru ishi ni Nare

Ok, so for this two songs, we return to the classic AKB girl next door look, but instead of jeans, the girls are wearing khakis (is that the right term?)

I like how for Team K it isn’t cute jeans and mini skirts, but something more… fierce? Team K aren’t girly girls, they are COOL, man

The Tshirts don’t advertise AKB (but we all had enough advertising with the ukatas anyway, right?) but they are from Palms and Labskies which is a clothing brand, I suppose (kind of reminds me of SweetS and Pentys… Damn I miss SweetS)

Ohai girls! Looking fierce as always!!

Yuko in white!! She looks like an angel!!

Sayaka stands out from the rest so much, even in this simple outfit, that’s pretty amazing. Sayaka is definitely the queen of the stage, that’s undeniable

I’m not really feeling the golden trimmed hat thingies… they are ugly

More Yuko = more happiness for the world <3<3

Sayaka greatness… She’s the coolest person on the face of the Earth

Kana! That shirt is pretty tight on her :O maybe she was mistaken and wore Erepyon’s shirt instead of hers? XD

We’re the Team K!!!!! Yeah, Korogaru Ishi ni Nare just so happens to be my favorite AKB song ever.

And of course, the best part of Team K, YUKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! (fangirling much?)

Best looking girl in this costume: Sayaka, of course. Just… wow

10. Cinderella wa Damasarenai:

I’ve already discussed this costume before, i believe. I love it to pieces, and it’s refreshing to see how similar it is to the original flamenco dresses

So, we have 2 different costumes, the backup girls have purple and black polka dotted dresses, which are slightly more simple looking than the ones the front girls wear

The front girls (like Erena here) have red and black dresses, which are even more similar to the original flamenco ones. They also have flashy golden trimmed ruffles in the neck/shoulder area

Backup girls! To be totally honest, I would’ve rather had Ayaka in there with the front girls instead of Kana… You know, no dissing Kana, as I love her, but Ayaka fits so much better into a song like this one… ok, I’m rambling now

I like how backup girls having darker dresses make the front girls stand out (I mean, that’s the purpose of backup girls anyway…) And yeah, that’s Meetan there, just being Meetan…

The ruffles in the other dress don’t have a golden trim, and they’re red instead of black

Yuko hotness, of course. The skirt is layered and of a light material, so when they swing it around it creates a pretty good effect

Tomomi and Yuko are a great pair, they should have shared lines more often… Look at the flower on the hips, that’s a nice detail!

Sayaka!!!

Look at the pretty shoes! High heeled mary janes (very flamenco like) and small red roses on the strap, beautiful

Costumes I loved: 5 (Blue Rose, Kinjirareta Futari, Ame no Doubutsuen, Virgin Love, Cinderella wa Damasarenai)

Costumes I disliked: None, actually (:O)

Costumes I didn’t like nor dislike: 5 (Seishun Girls/Beach Sandal/kimi ga hoshi ni naru made, Fushidara na Natsu, Don’t disturb, Virgin Love, Yakusoku yo/Korogaru Ishi ni Nare)

Best looking girl in the stage: Yuko, with Sayaka being a very close second! It may be my bias talking, but I think not, Yuko is very lovely in her own right!!!

Ok, so here ends the review of the costumes for K2!!! A great stage costume wise, and yeah, I’ll shut up, I’ve fangirled enough already, see you next time, for some A2 reviewing!!!

5. Fushidara na Natsu

This song has a very special place in my heart, it tickles my latina bone lol I love to see the girls have a go at salsa, and while some of them fail at it (like Tomo and Natsumi) some are amazing (Yuko, Sayaka, Sae, Yuka, Nontii…)

Woo! Sexy “Indecent Summer” song… Anyway, for this tropical sounding song, we have a tropical dress to go with it! It resembles the kind of thing that people wear to go to beach parties!

Here we can have a closer look at the dress. It’s hot pink, and the fabric has a palm tree print that’s very tropical (albeit a bit tacky IMO)

Sae looks like a mannequin in this screencap, but still, that flower in her hair is very pretty, and it matches the dress well. Also, not the bracelet she’s wearing in her arm, all the girls have it, and they also have another bracelet in their wirsts

A little snap at the back of the dress… It’s the Virgin Love dress underneath! I love this modular dresses!

One more full body shot, the hot pink is perfect for the mood of this song!

A little Yuka love is always a good thing! In this close up we can see the big flower in the front of the dress, that matches the one they wear on their hair. Plus, there’s a nice lacey ruffle detail in the dress, which looks very good

Umechan is fierce in this song! Look at all the bracelets! They’re a bit overboard, but for a flashy song like this, they fit in pretty well

Look at the print… It’s so damn tacky! That’s my main objection about this dress, however, I suppose it fits the song and stuff… I’m willing to overlook this detail because the outfits are pretty much flawless otherwise

In contrast with the colorful front, the back of the dresses, in solid pink, looks kind of dull. Also, the way the dresses are shaped makes the girl’s butts look really big XD

Gosh! Look at the naughty look Yuko’s giving! HOTT!!! So, having the Virgin Love white dress as a base, this one consists pretty much on a wrapped cloth over the onther one. Hence the beach party dress feeling

More Yuko goodness, there’s never enough Yuko spamming, especially not in my blog! Hell, people don’t even know that she’s my favorite member That’s sad…

So from now on, I’ll spam this blog with Yuko pics!!! I vow to that!!! Eh… ok, so here’s one more Yuko screencap

Best looking girl in this costume: I declare it a tie between Yuko (ofc) and Umeda Ayaka, who looks amazingly fierce in this outfit.

6. Don’t Disturb!

This is a bit of cheating, since it is the same costume in a different color, but, you know, the song is different also so I figured I had to give it a different category

Nacchi! She was so damn neglected in this stage!! Anyhow, the dress is light blue for this song, which fits the gentle flowing pace of this ballad perfectly

The hot pink dresses look very different under the soft lights, they look pretty and girly here

Look at how freaking lovely Kana looks in here! In this light blue color, the print of the dress doesn’t bother me at all, it fits somehow

Graduated members Imai Yu and Takada Ayana looking quite lovely there as well!

Erepyon! Ok, I’m running out of things to say about this cosumes, so I’ll shut up now, just… you know, they’re the same as the other dress, only blue instead of pink…

Best looking girl in this costume: Kana, she looks so damn cute and sweet!

7. Virgin Love - Hizukehenkousen:

So the girls leave the stage for a while, and then return changed into the dress that was under the previous ones.

Those are the sandals the girls wear with the Fushidara/Don’t disturb and Virgin love dresses. They are pretty simple and summer-y

The VL dresses are rather simple white ones. But I really like them, especially the shape of the skirt and the cute ruffles in the hem and shirt

That’s the ruffle thing I was talking about, it’s a nice detail. Plus, the pink and blue flowers and bracelets are great accesories and compliment the dress nicely

The fabric is kind of shiny too, which helps making the dress less dull and simple, plus, it has little crystals in the hem and straps, so it’s very pretty

So yeah, that’s all I can say about this dress, it’s pretty simple, but it works just fine

Best looking girl in this outfit: Yuko, hands down! She’s graceful and sexy all in one while wearing this. An honorable mention goes to Nontii, her curves are amazing!

8. Boku no Uchiage Hanabi:

Ok, so here we have this lovely, matsuri themed song, and of course, what do you wear for those nice festivals? Yukatas! but of course!!

And if you’re a member of an idol group named AKB48, well, then you just have to pimp your group while wearing the yukata, of course! Bleh, I find these to be quite ugly, actually, especially because of the loud colors of the print, I’d much rather see the girls in beautiful regular yukatas!

However, I have to admit that the outfits do fit with the song, recorded firework sounds and all. It must be the girls attitudes, they look up like they are watching the fireworks and wave and smile at each other…

YUKOOOOO!!! Now, pay attention, not only do they over advertise the group in the yukatas, the fans they hold also say AKB48 (I believe they were promotion for an event, perhaps the concert that took place in 06?)

So, other than that, the girls are also wearing the usual hair ornaments worn with yukatas for festivals, those are cute, but I still hate these yukatas

Look at Tomo!! She looks so cute, I want to hug her!!

So yeah, there you go. I remember reading on Santos’s blog that these yukatas were on sale (I mean, not the ones the girls wear, of course) in case the fans wanted to buy them and wear them… Maybe it was a joke, who knows…

Best looking girl in this costume: Kasai Tomomi!! She looks soooo cute and adorable!!!
