1. You have found a magical J-pop genie who will grant you one J-pop related wish (so no wishing for a million dollars or world peace or anything like that). It can be virtually anything as long as it’s directly related to J-pop, and don’t worry, because this is the nice sort of genie, not the kind who will try to find a loop-hole and screw up your wish. So, what do you wish for???

A chance to go and see Hikki, Namie Amuro or Koda Kumi in concert.

2. Is there any J-pop artist or group who seriously pisses you off? If yes, who, and why?

No

3. Who do you think is the sexiest japanese singer out there?

Koda Kumi or Namie Amuro

4. How about the cutest?

Mariko Shinoda from AKB48

5. Best personality?

Yossi

6. If given the opportunity, would you rather date person 3, person 4, or person 5?

Mariko all the way!

7. You work for a Japanese music magazine, and you have the opportunity to interview your favorite artist or group. What are a couple of the questions you want to ask them?

I'd ask Morning Musume what they think of their foreign fans and if they're aware just how popular they are in the West.

8. What’s the best (J-pop) song to listen to when you are really sad?

X-Japan - Tears

9. When you’re really happy?

Nana Mizuki - Heaven Knows

10. Do you often sing along to your favorite songs?

All the time

11. How about dance?

Yes

12. Artistic integrity question!! If someone offerrered to pay you for blogging, but they were allowed to censor some of your opinions or veto some of your blogging ideas, would you do it?

Nope

That JPop (or at least Hello! Project) would spread fully to the western world and be fully appreciated here.....
Can I have a quick 2nd one? (LOL): I'd like to yell at Keith Olbermann for his comments on MoMusu!!!!

2. Is there any J-pop artist or group who seriously pisses you off? If yes, who, and why?
Well.... I don't especially like Kumi Koda ... her image is too much like well... western singers (from what I've seen).
3. Who do you think is the sexiest japanese singer out there?
Matsuura Aya
4. How about the cutest?
Kago Ai
5. Best personality?
Yaguchi Mari
6. If given the opportunity, would you rather date person 3, person 4, or person 5?
probably Kago (4)
7. You work for a Japanese music magazine, and you have the opportunity to interview your favorite artist or group. What are a couple of the questions you want to ask them?
I'd like to ask Hello! Project members what they think of the whole Kago thing (scandal and more recently return/movie role) and if any of them have kept in contact with her.
8. What’s the best (J-pop) song to listen to when you are really sad?
Well to cheer myself up.... something up beat like The Peace
9. When you’re really happy?
Anything MiniMoni (more specific? well then maybe... Ai~n dance no uta, pure minimoni + shimura awesomeness!!!!)
10. Do you often sing along to your favorite songs?
yeah, the ones I know the words to (or if I have a karaoke subtitled music video)
11. How about dance?
sometimes.....(if no one else is there)
12. Artistic integrity question!! If someone offerrered to pay you for blogging, but they were allowed to censor some of your opinions or veto some of your blogging ideas, would you do it?
No, probably not

Yaguchi Mari. Sorry that came out wrong (yeah right). I meant to say Yaguchi Mari still actively releasing singles, preferably in a group with Iida Kaori, Konno Asami, Rika Ishikawa, Yuko Nakazawa, Takahashi Ai, Tanaka Reina and Yui Okada (for the sauce).

2. Is there any J-pop artist or group who seriously pisses you off? If yes, who, and why?

None. Although I don't pay much attention to C-ute or Berryz as it's just not my thing. As I don't care about them they don't bother me. Live and let live. Morning Musume can be annoying sometimes just for following up brilliant singles with the occasional dreadful one.

3. Who do you think is the sexiest Japanese singer out there?

I can't explain exactly what it is but Tanaka Reina does something to me.

4. How about the cutest?

Konno Asami (just ahead of Yaguchi Mari).

5. Best personality?

Yaguchi Mari.

6. If given the opportunity, would you rather date person 3, person 4, or person 5?

It's hard to split Konno and Yaguchi. I guess if pushed I'd choose Konno as she's cuteness through and through and yet quite smart too.

7. You work for a Japanese music magazine, and you have the opportunity to interview your favourite artist or group. What are a couple of the questions you want to ask them?

I'd ask Morning Musume what they feel about Kago Ai and what she has been through and I'd ask them what they feel about doing photobooks (which I like myself but I am curious as to what the members really think about them).

8. What’s the best (J-pop) song to listen to when you are really sad?

Nannimo iwazu ni I LOVE YOU - V-U-Den version. Although the Biyuuden version isn't bad either. It's a song that hits me every time. It's a song that lifts me up. It feels sad but towards the end it soars and I start to feel up. Plus it reminds me of my love for the perfect escape from the stresses and strains of modern life that is Hello! Project.

9. When you’re really happy?

Renai Revolution 21 (just ahead of The Peace and Souda). Still my favourite Morning Musume song and from the golden period of single releases (from Renai Revolution 21 to Do it! Now) where they could do no wrong in my opinion.

10. Do you often sing along to your favorite songs?

I can't sing. I can feel the songs in my heart though.

11. How about dance?

If on my own yes.

12. Artistic integrity question!! If someone offered to pay you for blogging, but they were allowed to censor some of your opinions or veto some of your blogging ideas, would you do it?

Yes. I'd just make sure I had a private side-project where I could do all the things they vetoed. It'd be silly to turn down the money.
