I never would have noticed the different background colours in the closeup shots! For some reason, I remember them all as being purple. XD

I agree with you 100% about the chorus being completely disappointing. It's my one serious roadblock in trying to like this single. I had the same problem with this recent AKB48 stage song - it starts out sounding kind of dramatic and cool, and in the chorus the stage lights suddenly become brighter and more pastel-y, the melody becomes all happy, and the girls start making heart signs. It fails. In Forever Love it bugs me even more, because the guitars are so cool...and those English chorus lines just sound SO silly and five years old. Blah.

@Arbitrary

Jiriri and Munasawagi are more complicated than the recent ones...but C-ute's dances are still more difficult. They require more coordination of more different body parts and faster movements, if that makes any sense.

It's because of Risako the dances are simple. She's just not good at dancing.

The "Simple Berryz Dance" trend started with Very Beauty, because the likes of Munasawagi and Jiriri are definitely challenging. Oh wait, Very Beauty was about the time that C-ute debuted. Hm.
