in any case, i think this is a great idea!
Mini Moni were epic and i’m all for new or improved versions of things (*cough*PokemonPlatinum*cough*)

I don’t think Mittsi would be put in because she’s already been in 2 anime sub-units.

I’d like to see apart from Kanyon:
CaptainSaki (cause she’s just such an awesome singer and i think she can be a little crazy sometimes)
Kanna (she’s a great singer and i think the extra publicity would help her overcome this bunion-exclusion thing, what’s happeneing about that anyway?)
LinLin - i don’t like her very much but there’s no denying the girl has the insanity needed for minimoni and hot dang she can sing well.

I think Reina would be a big mistake.
and Chisato, as much as i love her, she’s also been in an anime sub-unit already. i want variety! ><

I’m kind of excited. Although I know every fangirl reading about this revival desperately wants to be the new Mika, he’s most likely not gonna do that ((quelling nasty rumors about AX Idol before they begin)) and yeah, a Chinese member would totally be the way to go. LinLin is PERFECT! I haven’t even thought about Reina much before (She’s not my favorite MM member at all) but she would fit MiniM, if she can drop the “idol”-esque attitude and act silly once in a while.

It wasn’t the music that made MiniM, but the relationship of the crazy girls and the antics that followed. So although he shouldn’t necessarily find “a new Tsuji” or “a new Mika”, he should get a combination that lets them be fun together…

Also, the first MiniM never chose a pet! ;-P They have unfinished business (return of the dramatic prairie dog, I wonder?)

As soon as I heard, I thought about Kanon, LinLin, Momoko and Chisato. MiniMoni had an energy that I think would be difficult for the other Eggs (except for Nocchi) to pull off properly. I definitely think LinLin and Momoko would be a perfect fit for a new MiniMoni, but I’m not 100% on the Chisato option (Nocchi might be a better choice).

I admit, my initial reaction is “you’re crazy Tsunku” I still kind of feel that way, just not as strongly.

If he didn’t also “announce” that one of the members had been decided, it wouldn’t had been as crazy. Right now it’s just hard to picture MiniMoni without any MoMusume member in it, after all it is suppose to be a sub group of MoMusume.

And I would much rather Tsunku had said “I’m thinking of creating a group like MiniMoni” and give it a new name. Because now it’s like he’s picking characters that fit with the group image, rather than let the members create its own image.
